Welcome to the official community server for The Outside. This server is designed for creators, gamers, theorists, artists, stream viewers, and community members looking for a unique place to connect, collaborate, and grow. Our goal is to create one of the strongest and most active online communities possible while keeping the environment respectful, entertaining, and safe for everyone. By joining and remaining in this server, you agree to follow every rule and policy listed below.

Server Expectations

1. Respect Every Member

  • Every member deserves basic respect regardless of age, opinions, background, skill level, or status.
  • Harassment, bullying, targeted insults, humiliation, or intimidation are strictly prohibited.
  • Friendly jokes are fine, but repeated targeting or making members uncomfortable is not acceptable.
  • Arguments should remain mature and civil at all times.
  • Creating unnecessary drama or hostility damages the community and may result in moderation action.

2. Zero Tolerance Hate Speech

  • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, or hateful language of any kind is forbidden.
  • Slurs, offensive jokes, extremist content, or discriminatory behavior are immediate punishable offenses.
  • Trying to disguise hate speech as humor will still count as a violation.
  • Repeated toxicity may result in permanent removal from the community.

3. No Spam or Flooding

  • Do not flood channels with repeated messages, emojis, stickers, GIFs, or reactions.
  • Avoid excessive capital letters or walls of repeated text.
  • Ping abuse, including mass mentions or repeated tagging, is prohibited.
  • Bot abuse or command spam is not allowed.
  • Staff may mute or timeout users disrupting the flow of conversations.

4. Advertising & Self Promotion

  • Advertising servers, products, websites, channels, or social media without permission is prohibited.
  • DM advertising to members will result in immediate moderation action.
  • Self-promotion is only allowed in approved channels if available.
  • Scam links, fake giveaways, or suspicious promotions result in instant bans.

5. Appropriate Content Only

  • No NSFW, explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content.
  • No gore, disturbing imagery, or graphic violence.
  • Illegal discussions, piracy links, leaked material, or harmful content are prohibited.
  • Posting malware, IP grabbers, phishing links, or malicious files will result in a permanent ban.
  • Content should remain appropriate for a wide community audience.

6. Keep Channels Organized

  • Use channels for their intended purpose.
  • Stay on topic during discussions.
  • Do not intentionally derail conversations or provoke arguments.
  • Memes, media, gaming discussions, theories, and support belong in their respective channels.
  • Repeated misuse of channels may result in warnings or restrictions.

7. Voice Chat Conduct

  • No screaming, earrape, mic spamming, or intentionally loud audio.
  • Do not constantly interrupt or talk over others.
  • Soundboards and music should not disrupt conversations.
  • Recording voice chats without permission may result in punishment.
  • Staff may mute, move, or remove disruptive users at their discretion.

8. Privacy & Safety

  • No doxxing, leaking private information, or exposing personal data.
  • Threats, blackmail, stalking, or intimidation are immediate ban offenses.
  • Respect the privacy and boundaries of every member.
  • Do not share addresses, passwords, private accounts, or personal photos without consent.

9. Usernames & Profiles

  • Usernames, bios, statuses, or profile pictures must remain appropriate.
  • Impersonating staff, creators, or community members is prohibited.
  • Offensive or disruptive profiles may need to be changed upon request.
  • Fake staff behavior or misleading roles will result in punishment.

10. Respect Staff

  • Moderators are here to maintain the community and should be treated respectfully.
  • Publicly arguing with staff decisions may escalate punishments.
  • If you disagree with a moderation action, use tickets or contact staff respectfully.
  • False accusations against staff or members may result in punishment.
  • Staff decisions are final unless appealed properly.

11. Discord Terms of Service

  • All members must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Attempting to bypass Discord rules through loopholes is still punishable.
  • Users under Discord’s required age are not permitted in the server.
  • Any activity that risks the safety or status of the server may result in removal.

12. Community Atmosphere

  • The Outside is meant to be creative, entertaining, and welcoming.
  • Support other members and help contribute positively to the community.
  • Do not intentionally ruin events, activities, or community experiences.
  • We value quality interactions over toxicity and negativity.
